All prices are quotes in USD $, Euro €, CAD $ and are set per season.

Booking Procedures & Conditions

Once you have contacted us with your hunting enquiry, your booking can take place via your agent or directly with Ubuninzi Hunting Safaris

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable.

PLAINS GAME: A minimum deposit of $500 is required to confirm a booking, while trophy fees will be determined by the year in which the hunt takes.

CAPE BUFFALO: A minimum deposit of $3000 is required to confirm a booking, while trophy fees will be determined by the year in which the hunt takes place.

A hunt is only CONFIRMED once a deposit has been paid.

Payment

Full payment of the balance of the safari is payable on the final evening of the safari.

We do accept wires, cash and all leading credit cards. Please note there may be a slight difference in credit card charges from time of payment to when the transaction takes place due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Surcharges on Transactions

Credit Cards, wire and mobi-paid transactions – A 3.5% surcharge will be levied on all such transactions. 

Included In Our Prices:

  • All meals and snacks

  • Accommodation (Board and Lodging) during the contracted dates of the safari

  • Beer, wine, sodas, bottled waters and limited liquor

  • Daily laundry service

  • Guide services of licenced and experienced professional hunters, skinners, trackers and camp staff

  • Field preparation of trophies

  • Hunting licenses, TOPS and CITIES permits where required

  • Delivery of your trophies to local taxidermist

  • Airport road transfers to and from the closest airport to the hunting camp. (Pick up and Drop off)

Additional Costs Excluded In Our Prices

  • Dip and pack, taxidermy and shipping

    Staff tips

  • Medical rescue service or air rescue

  • Additional animals added to package

  • Additional days added to package

  • Additional activities

  • Dog pack charges per day for all hunts conducted with dogs.

  • Rifle hire and ammunition per safari if required.

  • Baiting fee/s where required.

  • Local transfer trip/s IF the Professional Hunter allocated to your hunt is not utilized for this transfer.

  • Meals and liquor outside of camps and hunting areas.

Wounded / Harvested Trophies

Any animal wounded/hit, and found OR lost, will be deemed as taken. The full trophy fee will apply

Gratuities

The preferred method of tipping for trackers, camp staff and PH’s should be done in USD$ cash.

Alternatively, feel free to add tips to the final bill of the safari which can be tallied and added at the end with your remaining hunt balance.

Our office will then ensure our various team members are paid out in accordance with your personal wishes.

Check with your Professional Hunter what the norm is on tipping and at all times keep in mind a tip is a bonus greatly appreciated

Insurance

Ubuninzi Hunting Safaris recommends that ALL clients obtain travel insurance prior to their safari.

Cancellation / Postponement Policy

In the event of a client cancelling a safari less than 6 months prior to the commencement date of the safari, the deposit will be forfeited if the dates cannot be rescheduled to alternate dated within the same year. 

Safaris postponed/cancelled more than 6 months prior to the commencement date of the hunt, will have the full deposit value transferable to the following year. Trophy rates will be set at that of the year the hunt takes place.
